Next weekend, August 16-18, Seattle Hempfest returns to Myrtle Edwards/Elliot Bay Parks on the Seattle waterfront to celebrate 28 years of Cannabis policy reform through positive action.
The donation-supported event features three days of music, political organizing, fun, art, speeches and educational seminars and displays. Oh, yes, also a whole lot of fun, tens of thousands of like-minded people and a cannabis consumption area for adults.
People come from around the world to share in this incredible experience, but you don’t have to attend to donate to the program.
One might think that hosting the world’s biggest cannabis protestival would be easier and easier over time, but the event is again embroiled in a battle for its very survival.
Hempfest: Timely, relevant, fun
