Federal agents raided a suspected drug lab in Mission Hills on Tuesday and seized “a large quantity” of THC extract that typically is used to make marijuana edibles, a Drug Enforcement Agency spokeswoman said.
Agents with the DEA executed a federal search warrant at a business on Hancock Street near Noell Street, just south of Interstate 5, said Special Agent Kameron Korte.
It was unclear what other agencies participated in the raid. At least one officer wearing a shirt saying “Police NTF” also was seen.
Video from the scene showed at least a half dozen people wearing white and yellow hooded hazardous materials suits loading up pallets of materials, including several 50-gallon barrels. A vacuum pump and a half dozen propane tanks could also be seen through open doors of the building.
