NJ marijuana legalization: Kids eating pot products and other mistakes to avoid

After legalizing marijuana for personal use, Colorado had a problem: toddlers and other kids were getting into stashes of edible marijuana products, eating them, getting high and being sent to the emergency room.

Since then the state has tightened regulations on “edibles.”

Those products can’t have human, animal or fruit shapes. The product name can’t use the word “candy” or “candies.”
