Dinner invitations landed in email inboxes about two weeks ago. The subject line read, simply, “Your Ticket – Holiday Soiree Dinner.” The note was only slightly less cryptic, offering the slimmest details: Saturday, Dec. 16, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The location? A secret. San Francisco is all it said.
The mystery is, of course, part of the appeal.
A few dozen people had each paid $150 to attend one of the most exclusive parties in the city, a lavish four-course cannabis themed dinner.
